The Grand parents arrived on Thursday after a very easy twisting of the arm and we plotted out the 8 weeks of their stay with a jam packed itinerary.
We took them down to our regular spot down by the river on Saturday and were amazed to see the parking and ground jam packed with canoe trailers. The Reading regatta was on and the river was packed. We could not have planned for the folks’ first outing better if we tried!
There was a tent selling barbeque burgers and boerie rolls (UK version tho) – not too shabby Nige!
