Sunday was another perfect summer day and ideal for another picnic. After our eventful trip to Henley last time, there was no hesitation that this would be enjoyed by the folks.
Before settling down to our picnic lunch, we decided to take a stroll along the river.
We hadn’t gone very far before there was a chorus for Icecreams
The town was abuz and there was a lot of preparation for the Regatta that would begin during the first week of July.
We got to the end of the path after a moment to catch our breath, headed back for lunch.
Just after we finished our lunch a dixie band started warming up and played great music from the 30s-50s. We could not have asked for a better way to spend a Sunday!
